Why home remedies stall
Some warts fade on their own over a long period. Many do not. Spreading, painful or facial warts are often better assessed in clinic than repeatedly treated with unproven pastes.
Clinic care
After confirming the diagnosis, procedural removal may be offered. Local anaesthesia is used for some methods. Recurrence can happen because virus may remain in nearby skin. Follow-up is useful if lesions return.
